At Arrowhead we manage our property to hold ducks. We are able to achieve this by having our own 120-acre rest area that is never shot in or over. The rest area has not been shot in over 8 years. Ending the hunts at 10 am helps maintain good duck population.
We have designed hunts to meet your specific needs. Arrowhead has a variety of hunting areas. We maintain over 1500 acres of flooded corn, rice, timber and beans. We maintain with our 8 deep wells at 5 locations. There are over 40 areas designed. Arrowhead has "The Valley" for a true flooded timber exposure. We have the "Spoony Pit" for some fast action in the rice fields. Arrowhead also offers many well-maintained flooded cornfield pits and blinds. Hunting locations are referred as the "North Woods", "The Valley", "Seed Hole", "The Pocket", "Big Daddy's", "Joseph's Hole", "Mini Ponds, the Dusky" and "Black Creek". For those that want to experience evening hunts, we have the "Hawkins Farm" and the "South Farm" to choose from.
